Meet Phil Ivey

Born Phillip Dennis Ivey Jr., this poker hero is considered world’s best contemporary poker player. He is also known as “The Phenom”, nickname that came along after he has won three World Series of Poker bracelets back in 2002. He has also been named “the Tiger Woods of Poker”.
Te poker champion has broke a record since the beginning of his career, being the one and only player that has defeated Amarillo Slim at a final table in a WOSOP tournament in 2000.
Phil has developed his skills playing as an amateur with his co-workers, but all this practice came of use and applying his strategies, he managed to become the youngest player to ever win ten World Series of Poker bracelets.
The young poker player has been awarded by All In Magazine the Poker Player of the year title twice, for the first time in 2005, and once again four years later, in 2009.
His natural talent brought him success also at high roller events. Ivey owns the second place on All-Time Money List after he has won $21.52 millions from tournaments.
Phil is the fourth poker player to hold so many bracelets ever.
